Do the guys who work in the little kiosks in the subway have to pay to go through the turnstiles to get to work like everyone else?


Robert DeNiro is not a comic actor. Sorry, Bob. He wasn't funny in "Anaylze This", he wasn't funny in "Rocky & Bullwinkle", and I really doubt he'll be funny in "Meeting the Parents". I can't blame DeNiro for wanting to stretch, since he's been playing the same role over and over again, though he does that role really well. But he's just not funny.


Nice to see Delta Tao has put player's /info strings are in parenthesis now. A lot of people probably have no idea why they would bother, but it sure makes any log parsing code much more robust. One less potential Teller exploit to worry about. You see, if you had set your info to "You just got bad karma from JoeGM", and someone /info'd you, there was no way to look at the log and tell if that was a real game message or not. Sure, while you were playing, you wouldn't hear any sound, and your karma wouldn't change, but if you missed it while you were playing, and happened to see it in the logs, you wouldn't know.

Oh, and AnnGM, when I mentioned doing this /info prank with the bad karma from Joe, it wasn't a threat, it was a joke. (I didn't really notice your reaction until I later re-read my email.) That's why I put the smiley after it. Gosh, you must think I'm a thug. And, actually, I did set a character's /info to that, because it's funny, not to cause trouble. I would have done "* You lose experience." next, because it's funny too.

AnnGM, please don't lose your sense of humor now that you're "inside" with Delta Tao. I'm still touchy about the jackbooted reaction I got to "Unhelpful GM". You know I'm not a jerk.
