You know, Bush and Gore are doing this all wrong. If I had run for office, and I saw I was going to win or lose by a hair, I'd say to my competitor: "It's all yours. Be my guest." With that degree of voter approval, you know you're being set up for a fall. I'd rather concede for 4 years, let the other guy take the heat, then run against him and cream the crap out of him. Gore should really be more graceful about this, because by dragging it out, even when he might be justified in principle, he's killing himself politically. We all know Bush will do a fine job revealing what a complete moron he is. All he has to do is open his mouth spontaneously within earshot of the media once and awhile, and I'm sure he'll hang himself.

The two presidential wannabes are fighting over the most dubious victory ever. There really is no winner. There is an opportunity for a graceful loser, though, but that's rapidly disappearing.
