I am dragging this morning. Even with the sheer decadence of over six hours of sleep, I just cannot get myself in gear.
I didn't get home until around 9PM because of work. Michael and Oliver were the houseguests from heaven itself. Not only did I arrive to a cleaned apartment, they scampered out, purchased some groceries and cooked a delicious dinner. It seems the only time I get a real home-cooked meal in my own home is when Michael visits. The two of them let me loaf while cooking dinner, and other than a small oil fire that briefly filled the apartment with smoke, I managed to catch most of the second episode of Dune, which in my fatigued state was at least amusing.After dinner I introduced Michael and Oliver to the joys of the Powerpuff Girls. I can't believe I actually watched almost 3 hours of television last night. I hope my brain isn't getting soft. I have to start planning possible activities for my visitor this weekend. The nice thing about having someone come to see me is I really get a chance to see the city. Living here on my own, I don't really explore or even do that much. I hope I rise to the challenge of being a good tour guide.
