Every Friday is a Good Friday

I asked Conny if Ivy the bunny has laid any eggs for Easter. No dice. I always suspected the Easter Bunny thing was a scam. Maybe Ivy just resents Conny is travelling again. Though, really, she gets spoiled at Grandma and Grandpa's house anyway, so maybe she's reserving her eggs for them. The question I want resolved is do they lay them already colored?

The weekend is off to a great start. Nothing like having Friday off and knowing that Conny will be showing up tomorrow. I'm trying to un-disaster area the apartment. After she left not that long ago, I never really cleaned up, and it actually got worse. When I get in a slump, things can get bad around here. It's not helped by me sleeping most of the day away, and then messing around online and on the phone and pretty much anything other then doing what I'm supposed to do.

Last night I met my ex-wife for drinks, and it was the first time we had seen each other in awhile. It was good to see her, but it can be hard still. It's difficult for her that I'm seeing someone, but last night was the first time she was glad for me, and that felt good. I'm glad she is seeing someone too. Things would be a lot harder if she was alone. In the end, we both want each other to be happy. That doesn't make all the hurt go away. After almost 10 years, things don't just entirely go away, even after almost a year. At some point, when we settle into new, happy lives, it'll be a lot easier to be friends.

My friend Mark may come to visit Conny and I for a weekend. He'd come all the way from San Francisco. It's been a long time since I saw him, though we're in touch all the time. He might be interested in the SM tourist safari package that Conny and I offer all our guests. I'm convinced there is a kinkster within him, and he's starting to sense it too, especially after his last girlfriend. Too bad he won't be here during the week, as I'd love to take him to Gomorrah... I suppose Paddles will have to do.
