Where does the time go?

All that time I spend neglecting my own blog I fill up by reading the brilliant and/or amusing words of others and thinking "Why can't I be that clever?"

Some of the places that I really should add to my links, but due to the neglect thing, haven't gotten around to doing yet are:
  • This Modern World by Tom Tomorrow. Cartoonist, New Yorker, all-around bright and funny guy. If I were inclined to be smarter and more politically involved and outspoken, I'd sound a bit like Mr. Tomorrow. Instead, I'm an apathetic idiot. Tom does it better that I ever could anyway.
  • Signal Vs. Noise is worth a daily visit, because it's "fresh". Not like "feminine freshness" but more like "Yo yo, check this out." Or something like that. Just go look.
  • Steven Berlin Johnson, the aptly named blog of, well, Steven Berlin Johnson. 'Cuz he writes about cool stuff. For a living.You know, those quaint analog "book" things.
  • Mister Crunchy, in spite of indulging in the blogging cliche of the "Friday Five", which gets on my nerves for some trite reason, has a wicked sense of humor, and finds tasty web morsels that keep me coming back for more.
  • Textism doesn't really need more links. But it is good and I do read it.So there, I admitted it.
I'd give you some good links to some fine porn sites, but I don't want you bastards bogging down my secret stash of smut servers. Go get your own.
